I am pleased to announce Fountaindale Public Library’s two newest ongoing reading programs – Books for Life and A Lifetime of Books.

How does it work? It’s very simple. Read at your own pace, log the books that you have read, and earn prizes while you are doing something you enjoy!

What can you read? Book club participants may read or listen to adult or young adult fiction and nonfiction.

When does registration begin? Monday, April 11, 2011 at 9 am.

50 books read – book journal

100 books read – book tote bag

500 books read – a book of your choosing

1000 books read – a gift certificate, a book donated to the library in your name, your name and picture in the library’s newsletter (optional), a certificate recognizing your achievement and a framed picture.

After completing 1000 books, you would then begin over, receiving a prize at 1050, 1100, 1500, and 2000.

Any questions? Just ask at any of our Adult and Teen Service Desks on the second or third floor.
